Solutions

Most of the work we do is to develop bespoke solutions for clients.  We use our Web Hosting tool Sirius as a framework to be able to rapidly deliver robust, innovative, cost effective solutions to automate business processes and handle data.  Sirius controls the access to the application so that the systems administrator can control exactly who has access and what they are allowed to view and do.  Sirius also has a strong reporting tool built into it so out of the box the client is able to produce reports on the applications attached to Sirius.  It also has a scheduler application allowing the client to set scheduled tasks to run automatically at a specified time.

 

Projects include:

Creating databases to combine data from multiple excel spreadsheets;

Developing Web portals to allow online access to data and applications;

Activity Management systems that allow managers to allocate and monitor workload and users to log their work.  This includes email alerts functionality which generates automated emails when specified conditions are met;

A full Online Banking System which includes FX capability, connection to SWIFT and full straight through processing; and

Compliance and Disclosures management systems to facilitate regulatory reporting.  This includes for example risk analysis, logging insiders’ registers, monitoring of holdings and conflicts of interest.

 

Due to the method in which we develop we are able to re-use code already created to re-create the same functionality in a new application thus significantly reducing the time to develop the new application.

For example, if a system requires 4 eyes authorisation, this is already built in to several of our systems; we simply need to lift the code and integrate it into the new application.  The banking system is built in modules, for example Loans, FX Deals, Transactional Banking and Interest Calculations; we can lift and combine these modules again for rapid development.

We also have qualified Scrum Masters.

The Sirius Secure Internet Shell is a secure web based front end, onto which other applications can be built.  It enables users to log into multiple applications using a single domain.
